I love being a professor and having a flexible schedule. . . however, right now I am very busy and needing all of the extra time I can get, and so can my students. . . .

So, I mentor three young men at Bethel (who are amazing by the way!), and I decided to cancel our weekly meeting today, so that they can relax, take a nap, chill with friends, or get something else done. I did that around noonish or so . . . . . . . .well . . . . .at around 3:30. . . . . I was watching the snow globe outside and decided – - you know what. . . . I will stay up a bit later tonight grading – but right now. . . I am going home to go sledding with the kiddos !!!!

What a great time we had outside today in the snow. . . sledding, snow-angels, making a snowman (you know the classics) . . . then – ginger bread house making . . . topped off with hot chocolate . . . yep. . . that’ll do . . . . making memories!!
